Sociology 14: Introduction to Ethnic Study
Complications/Solution:
* This has been one the most interesting classes I've taken. It's a great class and my professor is awesome. Over all, I haven't had any complications with this class. This class had opened my eyes to see how thing have been before settlers came in contact to indigenous people and those that are not. I would recommend this class to anyone that is willing to go in with an open mind. My professor had taught something new in every class meeting that I have had, catching my attention every time. This class helps people understand what happened to their people and why they have been classified the way they are. Some things that have been shown are disturbing, but make you think about what happened in the past to make the present the way it is. In one of our class sessions we watched a video that depict a white man trying to live off of minimum wage in Ohio. It was just an experiment for the white couple to see how it was and once their experiment was over they were shocked about what they had gone through and the experience made they change the views. This class changes everyones views on society, the government, and others that are against indigenous people.

The video to the left, is a song that I did my essay on in this class. Its, sad to know that no matter what happens nor how far people fight for their rights, their skin color will always define them. My essay depicted the aspects of how white skin color have rights that no one with color will ever have or know of. White people will always have an advance advantage to those people of color because of their skin. No matter how much people of color try to fight to have equal rights like white people they will never truly have them because there will always be someone making sure they never achieve that.
