This is one of my classes that I didn't expect to take this fall. I was actually hoping to skip both 1B and 1C English courses and simply take philosophy 25, but I'm glad that my major required both English classes to transfer. I'm not the biggest fan of English, therefore that's why I was hoping to simply not take more english then necessary. Taking this class with my professor from 1A has made the course a bit easier to understand and go through because my professor is a great teacher. English 1B will prepare me for my English one C class. This class has been fun and interesting with the reading that my professor assigns to us. The reading are a bit sad, but catching. She has assigned many reading that end the story with a death instead of the fair tail residing that most stories are thought to have. I'm glad she chose those reading because they have made my think more about what happened to the people to get them killed are why they killed themselves. One story that really caught my attention was the first story we read because it talked about a mother that losses her child to a civil war and she kidnaps another child that was similar to the one she lost. At the end she is killed my the police with a shot to the head. This story had a lot going on but it made me think about reality today and the reason behind why people do what they do. Overall, my professor not only teaches you what you need to know but also does it in a fun and understanding way.

Although, I do have trouble with common splice, I try my best to get throughout them by going to mu professor's office hours. The picture on the left was the grade I got from my i class essay. The picture on the right was of my essay of my take home essay. I made progress, which is what I expected from this course.
